Apps & Games content ratings on Softonic

Content ratings help you understand the type of content you might find in an app or game, so you can decide if they are suitable for you and your family.

What do the ratings actually tell me?

Content ratings describe the minimum age we feel the content is suitable for. It does not indicate that the app was specifically designed for that particular age, or if a certain level of skill is required to play the game or use the app.

Where can I find the content ratings?

You will find the content ratings on every app or game page.

Why are some apps or games unrated?

If an app or game does not have a rating, it means that it has not yet been rated, or it’s been rated and we’re working to update the page.

Rating Systems

Softonic uses the rating systems by PEGI and ESRB. The ratings you see may vary by country or region.

This is a remake of Zelda for mobile phones. The Legend of Zelda is a video game designed by Shigeru Miyamoto and developed and published by Nintendo. Set in the fantasy land of Hyrule, the plot centers on a boy named Link, the playable protagonist, who aims to rescue Princess Zelda from the primary antagonist, Ganon, by collecting the eight fragments of the Triforce, a powerful artifact.

As the inaugural game of The Legend of Zelda series, it was first released in Japan as a launch title for the Famicom's Disk System peripheral, a year and five months before it was released in the United States. Because the Famicom Disk System was not released outside Japan, the game was published internationally on the Nintendo Entertainment System's cartridge format in 1987, with an internal battery to facilitate data saving. Nintendo released the game in Japan in 1994 on cartridge format for the Famicom.

no seriously! this game is so amazing, i beat it twice now.

second time around i found the master sword and blue tunic. i actually went crazy-happy

im also a big zelda fan-girl (yes the creepy kind =_=;;)

this has the same gameplay as the original with graphics from all hand held zelda games and some obvious

weapons and items (hook shot, mirror shield, etc.)

Installation was easy, and it was the first free game i found on for phone so being a beginner at it made me feel pro in 2 seconds (yay for drag and drop)

i totally recommend this game for nintendo/ zelda fans or for people who are just looking for some good games to have on hand.

in case anyone is wondering, 5 is sword, 7 is other weapon and 9 (pressed twice) is menu

simple imo

have fun!!! ^_^
